PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution is an Ontario Energy Board licensed electricity distribution company. NTPDL operates a distribution system in the service area approved by the Ontario Energy Board. The shareholders are the Town of Newmarket and the Township of Tay.
B&M SCOPE OF WORK
Black & McDonald’s (B&M) services for the substations include detailed inspections and testing on:
- Protection and control systems
- SCADA systems
- Power transformers
- Switchgear and circuit breakers
- Infrared and ultrasonic inspections
- Insulating oil analysis
- Electrical safety training
- Electrical and mechanical trade support services
- Emergency support services
