B&M SCOPE OF WORK
Black & McDonald (B&M) worked on the design/build Sutera plant expansion in Bend, Oregon. Functions involved moving distilling and reactor skids from one facility to another in hazardous Class 1 D1&2 locations. Installation included new 3,000 amp service and a new emergency generator. Two new transfer switches and two new Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) were installed. B&M was instrumental in the design/build and installation of a gas detection system and a new Siemens Vesda continuous air sampling fire alarm system.
