PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The EDP Renewables Jericho Rise Wind Farm is an 80 MW generating facility located in Franklin County, in the state of New York, USA. The Jericho Rise Wind Farm consists of 37 wind turbines that produce enough energy to power approximately 35,000 average New York homes each year.
B&M SCOPE OF WORK
Black and McDonald was contracted in 2016 to perform the following scope of work for EDP Renewables:
- Offload 37 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs)
- Erect 37 WTGs
- Wire 37 WTGs
- Test four WTGs (10 per cent) using partial discharge testing equipment
- Perform generator alignment on 37 WTGs
