PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Black & McDonald (B&M) was awarded a contract with the City of Harrisonville, MO to relocate electric facilities due to Highway 291 modifications in the city. The job required a high level of technical expertise and ability to get the job done on time and within budget.
B&M SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work on the project consisted of:
- Replacing, installing and/or modifying 20 distribution poles
- Installing four pad mount transformers
- Installing four sectionalizing cabinets
- Installing around 7,750 ft. of underground duct
- Installing around 5,700 ft. of underground primary and secondary power cables
- Removing all of the old overhead electric lines after the cutover to the new underground was completed
