Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day in Canada is an annual reminder of the sacrifices made in the past by our veterans that have led to our current freedoms. It is observed on November 11th to commemorate the end of World War I on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.

Every year on November 11, Canadians pause to remember the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.
