We are delighted to announce the formation of a new limited partnership with the Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. The new entity, Willow Cree Project Services, is a collaboration between the Willow Cree Development Corporation and WIR Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Black & McDonald Group Limited (Black & McDonald).
Willow Cree Project Services specializes in Design & Fabrication, Mechanical, HVAC, and Electrical services for the Construction and Turnaround & Maintenance sectors in Saskatchewan’s industrial and commercial markets.
Representatives from Black & McDonald and the Willow Cree Economic Development Corporation recently participated in a signing ceremony to mark this significant event. Members from the Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation, Black & McDonald, and its subsidiaries were also present to commemorate this milestone.
As residents of Treaty 6 territory, we recognize our ongoing responsibilities to build and nurture relationships, promote understanding, and contribute to the economic development of Indigenous communities. Our primary goal is to collaborate closely with our partners, offering mentorship and access to apprenticeship programs, while fostering economic growth for a prosperous future for all stakeholders involved.
