On September 30, Black & McDonald joins Canadians across the country in observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. We encourage everyone at B&M to take time to:
- Reflect: Explore the history and legacy of residential schools, and the meaning of truth and reconciliation.
- Learn: You are encouraged to take the following Indigenous Awareness course; a previously recorded session delivered to Leadership, to help deepen your understanding: Indigenous Awareness Course
- Consider: Reflect on how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in both our personal and professional lives.
- Support: Show solidarity by wearing orange and engaging in meaningful conversations.
Together, we honour the voices and resilience of Indigenous communities.
