	Alberta Legislative Complex, Terrace Building Edmonton, AB This project involved the renovation of all of the T8 fluorescent lamps in the building to new T1 electronic ballasts. 	City of Burnaby Burnaby, BC Black & McDonald's HVAC, electrical and plumbing resources were assigned the demolition of the existing 70 ton chiller and the installation of a new environmentally friendly R-134a 70-ton chiller. 	Department of National Defense Meaford, ON The Land force Central Area Training Centre facility in Meaford is operated and maintained by Canadian Base Operators (CBO), a joint venture partnership between Black & McDonald and Defense Support Services LLC. Black & McDonald oversees the entire 17,000-acre facility operations, maintenance and repair responsibilities including project team subcontractors while Defense Support Services provides key support and resources regarding the military side of the agreement.
	Ontario Realty Corporation, Frost Building South Toronto, ON To upgrade the HVAC in the existing seven-storey building housing the Ministry of Finance, Black & McDonald provided multi-trade resources complete with the associated architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical work. 	Police 51 Division Toronto, ON When the downtown 51 Division of the Toronto Police Service moved to their new home on Front Street, Black & McDonald provided the HVAC systems and the mechanical and sheet metal trades for installation. Owner: City of Toronto Engineer: Smith & Anderson
	Rideau Hall – Pumping Station Ottawa, ON Black & McDonald was the Prime Mechanical & Electrical Contractor on the new Pumping Station project for Rideau Hall. The new station was required to provide additional irrigation for the massive estate with acres of lawn and gardens as well as over 3000 trees. Owner: NCC Engineer: Stantec
	Rideau Hall Ottawa, ON Black & McDonald was the general contractor on the steam piping and electrical upgrades project and the main hall at Rideau Hall. Carrying out this upgrade project within a working heritage site required many critical tie-ins and switchovers performed during short-duration shutdowns. New steam piping and associated line devices were run throughout the tunnels and an entire new electrical service was installed.
